Meiomi Pinot Noir
Region 1 Climate (UC Davis Classification) – Coastal California
Yes, Meiomi Pinot Noir seduced me. (Don’t tell my husband!) Before trying this wine, I was never a lover of Pinot Noir. Next to beefy Cabernets and peppery Zinfandels, I found Pinots to be a bit lifeless. And then I tasted Meiomi, and I realized how foolish and wanton I had been. This medium-bodied red enchanted my senses with spice and cherry aromas, dazzled my taste buds with the flavor of blackberry jam that lingered on my palate, and teased me with a luminous garnet color that hinted at its smooth, round character. And it was warm, luscious and velvety going down. Although this wine can pair beautifully with almost any food, I highly recommend that you savor it with the most sensual of delicacies – cheese drizzled with honey, fresh figs, or a creamy chocolate soufflé. Meimoi is exquisite and better than many Pinots I’ve tasted at twice the price. Although it certainly is inexpensive enough to be enjoyed alone on a quiet evening, it’s so much more delightful when shared by two.

Always looking for a good Pinot Noir at half the price of the ones I usually fall for but can’t afford often 🙂 I look forward to trying this one. It is available at our store.
Thank you.

If you love the Meiomi Pinot Noir, You should try the Belle Gloss Pinot Noir, it is twice the price, but well worth it! A very smooth, silky pinot with excellent flavor! Try that for your next homework assignment. There are 3 different types all of them excellent. My favorite is Clark & Telephone Belle Gloss

I’ll let Toni know. I don’t think they’re available here in the UK.

I recently tasted this wine and agree, it’s great! I especially liked how the winemaker combined grapes from different vineyards to give it complexity.
Cheers!
